Big Cartel was lovingly crafted by Matt Wigham and Eric Turner of Indie Labs in Salt Lake City, UT. We and our friends were looking for a simple way to sell our stuff online. We didn't like our options, so on October 4th, 2005 we released Big Cartel to the world. Since then, thousands of people have created Big Cartel stores to sell their merch, music, art and everything else.
