With Picnik, you can edit all your online photos quickly in a single place. It is the easiest way for the Web to fix photos, remove red-eye, or apply effects to your photos. It's fast, easy, and fun to use Picnik. Picnik is powered by Flash, and it smoothly performs many of the tasks that most users want from a photo editor. Its sleek tabbed interface has a blue-sky background and blades of grass, and it claims to be picking blackberries, buttering sandwiches, and cueing up bird songs as it loads.
Picnik is an innovative tool that brings the online photo editing much flexible and easy as never before. When you visit Picnik for the first time, you are faced with four large tabs: Your Photos, Edit, Creative Tools, Save & Share. Furthermore, these tasks are logically organized and is integrated with many other sites.
Picnik enables to add photos from all sorts of places like from files in our computer, or from flickr, or from any other website, such as Photodoto or from web cam. Though they not allow to do all the tasks that a highclevel program like Photoshop does, but still allows us to do almost all the common tasks, including Auto-Fix, re-size, change the exposure, rotate, crop, fiddle with the color, sharpen, eliminate red-eye, and undo. The auto-fix tool is refreshing, as it identifies inconsistencies in the photo, and spruce them up a little bulky. Other tools being pretty much self explanatory, not discussing here.
When you have, finished editing it provides a lot of options. You can either save images on our own computer, or send them directly to flickr, or to several other websites, like Costco photo, photo bucket, type pad, imageshack smugmug, Kodak easy share, nakama, photo pic and WalMart photos. We can also print the photo directly from application or email to a friend directly. This is one of the wonderful feature even Adobe's Photoshop lacks.
Moreover, Picnik is organized so thoughtfully and logically that you can complete your work within minutes. Even though it's an online editor, you can continue editing, even if you get disconnected which is the most amazing feature. Picnik remembers the previous image you edited and automatically loads it when you login again; the service also keeps track of the last five pictures you worked on and lets you undo the changes you made to them at any time, even after you have saved them to an external photo site such as Flickr or Photobucket.
Overall, Picnik is an excellent, powerful application if you want to edit your photos directly and quickly. If you do not own any expensive photo editing software, it is highly recommended.
